5 weeks old

Monday, Nathanael was 5 weeks old. We spent the day at home, doing laundry and cleaning. It was a nice quite day at home.

Tuesday, Nathanael and I went to the doctor for mommy. Then we picked up Jimmy and had lunch at Nosh. Then headed home and started packing. Wendy came over and brought us some yummy gluten free cupcakes. She is so sweet! That night we packed for Cincinnati.

Wednesday, Kim came by to help get us ready for our big trip. We went to lunch at Tico's and then finished getting ready for the long drive ahead. Grandma came by and we left for Wytheville, VA. We stopped in VA to spend the night and break up the long trip. Nathanael did great in this 3 hour drive, mostly he slept.

Thursday, we woke up, had breakfast at the hotel. Then we hit the road for Cincinnati. Jimmy and Grandma drove. Nathanael was a perfect baby on the drive. He slept and ate. He loves sleeping in the car, he takes after his mommy. We got to Cincinnati around dinner time. We went to Meijer after dinner to get some essential items. Then crashed for the night.

Friday, we woke up and took our time getting ready for the day. Nathanael, Jimmy and I went to Ikea! This was Nathanael's first Ikea trip. We are looking at replacing our closet. We had lunch at Ikea and then headed to SugarCraft. I loved going to SugarCraft. Then we went to the hotel for an hour. This evening we went to visit Nathanael's Great Grandfather. Then we went to GoettaFest in Kentucky with Nathanael's Great Aunt Sue, Great Aunt Debbie, and Great Uncle Dick. Nathanael will get his taste of goetta in a few hours. After GoettaFest, we went to Grandma's first house. I fell down three steps and twisted my ankle. Thankfully Jimmy was holding Nathanael. Then we went to Greater's for ice cream (I had strawberry chip). Yummy! Then we dropped everyone off at Great Grandpa's house and we headed back to the hotel. We had a late night trip to Meijers and now are settled at the hotel.
