Tahoe part 1

Thursday morning Ben picked us up at 5 am and we headed to the airport. I skillfully bashed Nate's head into the ticket counter while trying to put the luggage onto the scale. Poor baby, bad Mommy. :( He cried but got over it very quickly. Flights went smoothly. Nate cried in short little bursts when accending and decending but otherwise slept through both flights. It was kind of amazing that he could sleep that much.

When we got to the cabin in South Lake Tahoe, it was 55 degrees. Freezing cold! So we went to Swiss Chalet for dinner. Very yummy Swiss/German food. Nate was so happy to sit in a highchair and bang spoons on the table. He really liked dropping the spoon and having Daddy pick it up. While Daddy was distracted Nate would grab for the steak knife. He was successful once. ;)

After dinner, we came back to the cabin. It was so cold I bundled Nate up and got him to sleep. It was a rough night for him. He has a really bad head cold with cough.

Today, we had a leasurely morning. Jimmy made breakfast. We tried to drop off Ben to go skiing but only 2 runs were open because of high winds. So we drove around, shopped, had lunch, shopped some more, took some pictures and came home. Busy day. Nate is wheezing now and I have given him two treatments. Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.
